Things to Consider

Fredricksburg is a short drive from the ranch with many attractions. These include wine tasting, restaurants, entertainment, and shopping. We have included a few links below to explore for yourself.

San Antonio is the closest major airport about one hour from the ranch

Kerrville and Fredricksburg have private airports 25 minutes from the lodge

The proper gear is important. Please look at the local forecast for the Kerrville area to know the weather ahead of your hunt. The ranch is rocky with rolling hills. Lace up boots are recommended but not required. 

It is important to know your weapon. we recommend practicing shots out to 150 yards for riffles and out 40 yards for bow hunters. Upon arrival you will be required to shoot your weapon to insure they are sighted in.
